The toggle enables or disables 2G\nconnectivity on the device.\n\nMinor UX adjustment\n-------------------\n\nTo align with the rest of the **Settings**, the following changes are introduced\nto the 2G toggle present under SIM Settings. These changes are also shown in the\nfollowing figure:\n\n- The title is changed from **Allow 2G** to **2G network protection**.\n- The description is updated to align with the title.\n- The default toggle state is updated to align with the title and the description.\n\n**Figure 1.** Illustration of changes to the 2G toggle.\n| **Note:** There is no change to the default state of 2G connectivity on the device. Previously, the toggle was ON by default meaning 2G connectivity is enabled. Now, the toggle is OFF by default also meaning 2G connectivity is enabled. If the user changed the toggle state previously, the corresponding state aligned to the new UX is preserved.\n\nAdditional entry point\n----------------------\n\nAn additional entry point for 2G toggle corresponding to each of the SIMs\n(physical SIM or eSIM) on the device is added to the [**Mobile\nnetwork security**](/docs/security/features/cellular-security/mobile-network-security) section in the [**Safety Center**](/docs/security/safety-center/overview) under\n**Settings**.\n\n**Figure 2.** Additional entry point for the 2G toggle."]]
